Based in eastern Iowa in the city of Muscatine, Pearce Virtual Solutions is a virtual assistance business owned and operated by Dona Pearce. It's dedicated to freeing real estate agents and small business owners from the drudgery of day-to-day paperwork.

We agree on a price, I complete the work, and mail it, email it, fax it, or whatever else needs doing to finish the project. About the Owner:

Dona began her administrative assistant career when it was still fashionable to be called a secretary. Dona has worked for: 

• an office furniture manufacturer;
• a credit card services company;
• a law office;
• a mortgage company.

Dona also was a REALTOR® in Iowa for a few years, but found she enjoyed the assistant end of the business far more than selling. She also realized she liked being in business for herself as an independent contractor -- much like you!

Taking several years off from the working world to raise her son is one of the highlights of her life, but during that time, she kept her computer skills current, doing volunteer work and publishing newsletters for various groups.

Dona has been a volunteer for some years -- first in the San Diego area, where she and her family lived for several years, and now in Iowa. She currently volunteers (virtually and physically) with:

• ARRF (Animal Rescue Resource Foundation), San Diego, CA, database manager, newsletter editor, & creator of flyers
• Witty Kitties, Inc., Solon, IA - (a shelter for cats with compromised immune systems); president of the board of directors & newsletter editor
• AWF (Animal Welfare Foundation of Iowa)

I am on my condo association's board of directors and I'm the secretary of that group.
